PROTEK HG blends unique live enteric-coated yeast probiotics with a powerful prebiotic, psyllium husk, superoxide dismutase antioxidant, and digestive enzymes to deliver effective hindgut benefits for all types of horses.

 How does it work?

1. Stabilizes microbial population and hindgut pH during periods of change: Levucell SC^®, a live active dry yeast probiotic, helps to promote microbial stability, richness, and diversity, and stabilizes hindgut pH during times of change such as dietary change and/or transport.
2. Improves feed digestibility: Levucell SC^® and key digestive enzymes help to increase fiber digestibility and improve the digestion of starch. This helps to reduce the impacts of hindgut acidosis caused by feeding carbohydrates.
3. Promotes the growth of beneficial hindgut bacteria: Change can increase lactic acid-producing bacteria throwing out the hindgut microbe balance. The yeast prebiotic, Lalprobiome^® live active dry yeast probiotic, and Levucell SC^® work synergistically together to stimulate and maintain the growth of beneficial bacteria. This blend often results in improved manure consistency.
4. Enhances the body’s defenses: Superoxide dismutase (SOD) helps against free radical damage whilst the pre- and probiotics support immune health.

Directions for use

The daily requirement per 220lb (100kg) bodyweight is 0.4oz (10g). Safe to feed for the long term. Safe to feed to foals and youngstock.
