I never write reviews - but this product has done a 180 on my horse. As a Lusitano, his personality leans towards some anxiety and anticipation tendencies, which has made him prone to chronic ulcers of various grades over the years - especially glandular (despite making his home environment nearly perfect). He also has IBD of the small intestine, contributing to ulcers and having a sensitive gut prone to colic like episodes. After that discovery, both my vet and nutritionist recommended this product. Although pricey, it has kept my guy ulcer free for nearly 2 years now (along with a diet change to very low starch and high fat). Not only that, I've noticed a huge change in his disposition -- he is more calm both at home and shows and has finally gained weight after years of struggling to keep it on. It is a large amount of powder (he gets 1 & 1/4 scoop 2x a day) - but I feed him his supplements in wetted beet pulp, so the product soaks in and he gets all of it. This has worked for me. He is a happy horse with a happy gut. At 18, he is looking and feeling good and still out competing at high levels in dressage. <3
