My boy has struggled with ulcers constantly. Since we started Protek GI he has not had to go back on Gastroguard. This is a first and while I am still holding my breath a little, I am hopeful for the first time! Thank you
A handful of our Rescue horses that have had a history of severe starvation and hind gut ulcers use ProTek GI daily. We have seen nice results with all of them, and we will continue to use this product daily. We find that it is palatable with their feed which is always a top priority when feeding a supplement. This product was recommended by our amazing vet team, and we feel very strongly about continuing then use in it with our selected horses that have the history of hind gut ulcers.
I am impressed by how much both of my horses (one just coming off typical oral omeprazole/sucralfate ulcer treatment, another starting an injectable omeprazole protocol) eagerly gobble up the slime! Optimistic for good results.
I have an 8 yo gelding who has struggled for years with ulcers, despite medical treatment and the use of some of the top rated supplements out there. On the suggestion of my vet, I switched him to Protek GI. After 2 months, a recent scope was the best yet, down to mild Grade 1, and on the path to full healing. The scope showed lots of "slime" protecting the area around the the pyloris, just as the makers said.
